What documents will I need to enter Mexico?
US citizens need to show proof of citizenship with a valid government issued photo ID AND passport. Your name on your passport must match your airline tickets. Because of recent heightened security at the airport, there are new limitations on carry-on items allowed through security. We encourage you to visit http://.tsa.gov to learn which items are prohibited for travel. You will also need to bring your hard copy airline tickets to the airport for check-in. Your tickets will be included in your confirmation packet that you will receive approximately two weeks prior. Please do not pack travel documents in checked luggage.
